Los instrumentos musicales, que son esculturas por as\u00ed decirlo, representan un desarrollo a\u00fan joven y relativamente desconocido en el arte contempor\u00e1neo. Todas las obras art\u00edsticas presentadas en esta publicaci\u00f3n que acompa\u00f1a a la exposici\u00f3n colectiva internacional poseen tambi\u00e9n todas las caracter\u00edsticas de un instrumento musical. Tocar los instrumentos escult\u00f3ricos constituye la pieza central de la exposici\u00f3n, que cambia constantemente. Mientras dure la exposici\u00f3n, el Schirn se transformar\u00e1 temporalmente en una sala de conciertos en la que las obras se activar\u00e1n y har\u00e1n resonar. Los visitantes podr\u00e1n experimentar el sonido de las obras en directo, el sonido de los instrumentos ser\u00e1 explorado por conjuntos siempre cambiantes y luego presentado en conciertos, y a veces los artistas interpretar\u00e1n sus propias obras. El punto de partida del concepto es una concepci\u00f3n ampliada del arte y la m\u00fasica, conocida a partir del movimiento Fluxus de los a\u00f1os 60: los happenings o acciones se entend\u00edan como \"conciertos\", ya que se estructuraban de forma similar a las composiciones y combinaban distintos medios y materiales.<\/p>\n
