En 2015, Martin Creed llev\u00f3 a cabo una amplia selecci\u00f3n de instalaciones site-specific en las seis grandes salas de la Kunsthalle Vogelmann para el Kunstverein Heilbronn; al a\u00f1o siguiente, tambi\u00e9n cre\u00f3 una presentaci\u00f3n en el Taxispalais de Innsbruck adaptada a las condiciones locales. El entorno espacial siempre desempe\u00f1a un papel importante. En 2001, este artista escoc\u00e9s afincado en Londres recibi\u00f3 el prestigioso Premio Turner por una obra que \"s\u00f3lo\" consist\u00eda en encender y apagar regularmente la luz de una habitaci\u00f3n. A primera vista, esto parece muy minimalista, pero es muy relevante para toda la habitaci\u00f3n y para los visitantes que se mueven en ella. La brillante obra de Martin Creed parece por un lado l\u00fadica y asombrosamente amable, pero por otro es decidida y rigurosa. En una entrevista muy personal, le preguntaron a Martin Creed por qu\u00e9 hac\u00eda arte. Su respuesta fue: para sentirse mejor. Esta afirmaci\u00f3n es tan desarmante como sincera e invita siempre al espectador de su obra a participar en el proceso de compromiso con el arte, con el espacio y con el mundo en general.<\/p>\n
