El cine y la fotograf\u00eda son los medios utilizados por Jeanne Faust, nacida en 1968 y residente en Hamburgo. En su lenguaje cinematogr\u00e1fico, utiliza los momentos de vac\u00edo dramat\u00fargico, los clich\u00e9s de lo extra\u00f1o y lo familiar que hicieron famoso a su gran modelo Rainer Werner Fassbinder en los a\u00f1os sesenta y setenta. Su proceso fotogr\u00e1fico, por otra parte, escenifica situaciones f\u00edlmicas, a veces en variaciones de plano y contraplano, como se conocen de la fotograf\u00eda fija cl\u00e1sica y como Jeff Wall, por ejemplo, las traslad\u00f3 al documental en su fotograf\u00eda altamente escenificada. El proceso de contradisparo de Jeanne Faust produce resultados encantadores, a trav\u00e9s de los cuales consigue mantener su obra en un desconcertante estado de suspensi\u00f3n; el espectador siempre espera y anticipa una continuaci\u00f3n, pero para ello se le deja a su imaginaci\u00f3n. Adem\u00e1s de una primera gran presentaci\u00f3n individual en el Kunstmuseum Liechtenstein, Vaduz (2002), las obras de Jeanne Faust han llamado especialmente la atenci\u00f3n en las exposiciones \"New Heimat\" (Frankfurter Kunstverein 2001) y \"Manifesta 4\" (Frankfurt 2002). El cat\u00e1logo que acompa\u00f1a a las exposiciones de la Kunsthalle D\u00fcsseldorf (y la Kunstverein Heilbronn es la primera publicaci\u00f3n individual y contiene numerosas fotograf\u00edas de gran formato, as\u00ed como una filmograf\u00eda completa con breves textos explicativos de la artista.<\/p>\n
