Cuny Janssen, la \"fot\u00f3grafa de ni\u00f1os m\u00e1s notable de nuestro tiempo\" (Freddy Langer), retrata el estado intermedio en el que la ingenuidad da paso a la experiencia de un modo inimitable en su \u00faltimo ensayo fotogr\u00e1fico en tres partes con instant\u00e1neas de la naturaleza y retratos de ni\u00f1os de \u00c1msterdam. Sorprendentemente, las im\u00e1genes de la naturaleza de parques y zonas residenciales parecidas a parques no contrastan realmente con el realismo fant\u00e1stico de las fotos de los ni\u00f1os; toda la imaginer\u00eda del libro parece un gran sue\u00f1o: arbustos con el colorido follaje oto\u00f1al, caras serias de ni\u00f1os jugando en el prado, holgazaneando y leyendo en el sof\u00e1, equipados con material de investigaci\u00f3n o en una representaci\u00f3n teatral en el colegio. Como en las obras anteriores de Cuny Janssen, aqu\u00ed los retratos nunca parecen haber sido concebidos con un momento concreto en mente; m\u00e1s bien parecen fotogramas, im\u00e1genes congeladas de una pel\u00edcula que est\u00e1 a punto de continuar. Como antes, la artista consigue as\u00ed dejar en un limbo de suspense la distancia y la proximidad entre ella y nuestros sujetos, aunque, como dice Cuny Janssen, este libro se diferencia de sus proyectos anteriores en que las im\u00e1genes fueron creadas en su entorno inmediato y no proceden de otros mundos y culturas.
