\u00bfUna historia secreta del modernismo? Egon Schiele se ve\u00eda a s\u00ed mismo como un artista vidente y prof\u00e9tico, Franti\u0161ek Kupka pintaba de repente abstracciones espiritualizadas, Joseph Beuys ped\u00eda una revoluci\u00f3n social con la ayuda del arte y Friedensreich Hundertwasser cre\u00f3 la primera de sus famosas espirales. Estos revolucionarios avances art\u00edsticos no se habr\u00edan producido sin el encuentro con la vida y la obra de los artistas-naturistas. La importancia del ascenso de estos artistas-naturistas, que tambi\u00e9n se consideraban disidentes religiosos y revolucionarios sociales, es una historia en gran medida desconocida para el arte moderno. Sus nombres -Karl Wilhelm Diefenbach (1851-1913), por ejemplo, o Gusto Gr\u00e4ser (1879-1958), Gustav Nagel (1874-1952), Friederich Muck-Lamberty (1891-1984), Ludwig Christian Haeusser (1881-1927)- est\u00e1n casi olvidados en el mundo del arte actual, aunque eran muy conocidos y apreciados en los c\u00edrculos vanguardistas. A trav\u00e9s de la exposici\u00f3n y el libro -con unas 300 obras de Franti\u0161ek Kupka (1871-1957), Egon Schiele (1890-1918), Johannes Baader (1876-1955), Max Schulze-S\u00f6lde (1887-1967), Heinrich Vogeler (1872-1942), Friedrich Schr\u00f6der-Sonnenstern (1892-1982), Friedensreich Hundertwasser (1928-2000), Joseph Beuys (1921-1986) y J\u00f6rg Immendorf (1945-2007), as\u00ed como diverso material documental- se descubren causalidades, se trazan inesperadas l\u00edneas de conexi\u00f3n a trav\u00e9s del modernismo y se integra a los llamados salvadores y a las vanguardias art\u00edsticas en un contexto art\u00edstico e hist\u00f3rico-cultural de gran alcance.<\/p>\n
