Maki Na Kamura es una artista de ra\u00edces japonesas que vive en Alemania. En 2012 recibi\u00f3 el \"Prix Marcel Broodthaers - en peinture\" y en 2013 el Premio Falkenrot de K\u00fcnstlerhaus Bethanien, Berl\u00edn. Toma prestada su pintura de la pintura occidental tradicional y cita como ejemplos a Giorgione y Millet. Christoph Tannert escribe que sus \"pinturas son un compromiso con lo inacabado. Esto incluye siempre el triunfo de la voluntad rom\u00e1ntica junto con la huida hacia estructuras laber\u00ednticas y la desesperanza\".
