Isabel Nu\u00f1o de Buen (nacida en 1985 en Ciudad de M\u00e9xico) ha sido galardonada con el PREMIO SPRENGEL 2021. El premio lo conceden la Nieders\u00e4chsische Sparkassenstiftung y el Estado de Baja Sajonia a artistas visuales de Baja Sajonia y tiene por objeto impulsar el intercambio cultural en Europa. Se acompa\u00f1a de un cat\u00e1logo y una exposici\u00f3n en el Museo Sprengel de Hannover, y el premio incluye tambi\u00e9n una beca de viaje de seis meses a otro pa\u00eds europeo. La posici\u00f3n poco convencional de Isabel Nu\u00f1o de Buen como escultora, que combina diferentes culturas, medios y t\u00e9cnicas en intervenciones sutiles, simb\u00f3licas y escult\u00f3ricas, impresion\u00f3 al jurado del premio tanto como su m\u00e1s reciente presentaci\u00f3n en la gran sala del Kunstverein Hannover. Su viaje la llev\u00f3 por Espa\u00f1a y Francia para contemplar tapices hist\u00f3ricos y situar su trabajo en di\u00e1logo directo con estas impresionantes obras. Isabel Nu\u00f1o de Buen finaliz\u00f3 sus estudios en la HBK Braunschweig en 2014 con Bogomir Ecker, en 2015 recibi\u00f3 la beca anual del estado de Baja Sajonia y en 2016 el premio de la Kunstverein Hannover. Recientemente ha expuesto en solitario en el Kunstverein Hannover y en The 500 Capp Street Foundation de San Francisco.<\/p>\n
