Cuando dentro de un a\u00f1o la Albertina de Viena dedique una retrospectiva al 85 cumplea\u00f1os de Arnulf Rainer, se tratar\u00e1 sin duda de una brillante retrospectiva de una obra polifac\u00e9tica. Sin embargo, la Galer\u00eda Elisabeth & Klaus Thoman de Innsbruck ya ha organizado una exposici\u00f3n y est\u00e1 publicando un cat\u00e1logo con una antolog\u00eda de la obra de Rainer, como pocas veces se ha reunido y expuesto antes. Se trata de sobrepintados de fotograf\u00edas de los a\u00f1os 60 hasta la actualidad con motivos er\u00f3ticos, a veces incluso pornogr\u00e1ficos. En estas obras, Arnulf Rainer parece reaccionar muy emocionalmente ante los cuerpos de las mujeres; tacha, realza, caricaturiza, acent\u00faa y a veces viola las superficies en las que literalmente clava su aportaci\u00f3n. A veces parece como si quisiera abrirse camino a trav\u00e9s de la capa fotogr\u00e1fica hasta llegar a sus compa\u00f1eras. \"El proceso de esta confrontaci\u00f3n adopta -y esta antolog\u00eda lo muestra muy bien- formas de compromiso muy diferentes. Va desde el lineamento elegante, un dibujo t\u00e1ctil que abarca y captura el cuerpo, hasta la reelaboraci\u00f3n pict\u00f3rica, en la que el fluir y salpicar del color evoca sin duda asociaciones con procesos sexuales, y a veces la obra fotogr\u00e1fica se ahoga completamente en color\", escribe Peter Weiermair en su texto introductorio. Andrea Madesta, la segunda autora del volumen, en cambio, a veces echa una mirada cr\u00edtica a la imagen de la mujer tal como la encontramos en la obra de Arnulf Rainer y a la confrontaci\u00f3n radical, hist\u00f3ricamente determinada, con los valores y las convenciones.<\/p>\n
