Desde principios de la d\u00e9cada de 1980, Thomas Sch\u00fctte -tres veces participante en la documenta de Kassel, ganador del Premio de Arte de D\u00fcsseldorf 2010 y del Le\u00f3n de Oro de la Bienal de Venecia 2005 como mejor artista individual- ha trabajado sobre maquetas arquitect\u00f3nicas, vistas y escenas figurativas. Provistas de indicaciones de escala o acompa\u00f1adas de peque\u00f1as figuras, se ponen en relaci\u00f3n con una realizaci\u00f3n en dimensiones mayores, por lo que a lo largo de los a\u00f1os muchos peque\u00f1os modelos originales se han trasladado a gran escala. La interacci\u00f3n entre lo peque\u00f1o y lo grande, entre el modelo y la realizaci\u00f3n, entre el arte como modelo y el modelo como arte atraviesa toda la obra. Por ello, este voluminoso volumen sobre la exposici\u00f3n de Bonn se inspira en el propio Thomas Sch\u00fctte y ha sido definido hasta el \u00faltimo detalle. Apenas hay un grupo importante de obras que falte como modelo o instalaci\u00f3n en esta visi\u00f3n cronol\u00f3gica de treinta a\u00f1os de trabajo. Aqu\u00ed, la maqueta no s\u00f3lo es el n\u00facleo de una obra fant\u00e1stica y exuberante, sino que tambi\u00e9n adquiere una funci\u00f3n sismogr\u00e1fica y redescubre el arte de construir para las artes visuales.<\/p>\n
