Christian Skrein (nacido en Viena en 1945) vive actualmente en el Salzkammergut. Comenz\u00f3 su carrera como fot\u00f3grafo en 1963 e inici\u00f3 su colecci\u00f3n en 1968. Hoy en d\u00eda, esta colecci\u00f3n es reconocida en todo el mundo por su papel pionero en la recepci\u00f3n de la fotograf\u00eda amateur. A lo largo de los a\u00f1os, Christian Skrein ha desarrollado una actividad coleccionista que tambi\u00e9n se nutre de obras art\u00edsticas y documentales de gran calibre para temas como la formaci\u00f3n compositiva, los juegos de sombras, la fotograf\u00eda forense y el retrato. Su mirada se remonta a las d\u00e9cadas de 1920 y 1930 e incluye tambi\u00e9n la fotograf\u00eda de reportaje contempor\u00e1nea, sin duda debido a su propia pr\u00e1ctica fotogr\u00e1fica profesional. En los a\u00f1os sesenta, fue el fot\u00f3grafo m\u00e1s joven en trabajar para Vogue y se dio a conocer por sus retratos de la bohemia vienesa de la \u00e9poca, fruto del contacto personal directo, y en los que destacan nombres como Christian Ludwig Attersee, Andr\u00e9 Heller, Hermann Nitsch, Walter Pichler, Arnulf Rainer y Oswald Wiener. La exposici\u00f3n y la publicaci\u00f3n, sin embargo, se centran cronol\u00f3gicamente en los criterios hist\u00f3ricos y formales de la fotograf\u00eda, dando como resultado una breve historia de la fotograf\u00eda en im\u00e1genes ic\u00f3nicas e instant\u00e1neas an\u00f3nimas.<\/p>\n
