\"De la nariz a la cola\" se publica con motivo de la exposici\u00f3n individual \"Elephant in the Room\" de Martin W\u00f6hrl (*1974) en el Kunstverein Ingolstadt (verano de 2020), en la que sus obras concretas desempe\u00f1aron un papel destacado. Sin embargo, el t\u00edtulo procede de la gastronom\u00eda y hace referencia al procesamiento completo de un animal, desde el filete hasta las v\u00edsceras y la cola. El artista hace referencia a esto porque concede el mismo valor a todas las partes de sus esculturas y tambi\u00e9n reelabora los restos de su producci\u00f3n en combinaciones siempre nuevas. Nacido en M\u00fanich, Martin W\u00f6hrl construye sus esculturas combinando piezas materiales de la arquitectura real, ya sean sagradas o profanas, para crear un di\u00e1logo, como el lin\u00f3leo y el lat\u00f3n. A veces, parece como si creara im\u00e1genes on\u00edricas hilvanadas. Sin embargo, de acuerdo con la convicci\u00f3n est\u00e9tica b\u00e1sica de un enfoque minimalista de los materiales, al principio se inclin\u00f3 por la madera, el hormig\u00f3n y el yeso, apilando cubos de hormig\u00f3n unos sobre otros, colocando marcos en la pared o colocando tubos en la sala.
