La artista inglesa Monster Chetwynd (*1973 Londres) se dio a conocer internacionalmente con sus performances carnavalescas, que recuerdan a los juegos de misterio y carnaval medievales y retoman temas de la historia del arte y la cultura pop, aunque tambi\u00e9n se dio a conocer en la d\u00e9cada de 2000 como Spartacus o Marvin Gaye Chetwynd. En 2012, fue la primera artista de performance nominada al prestigioso Premio Turner y su obra sigue ocupando uno de los puestos m\u00e1s importantes en el campo de la performance contempor\u00e1nea. Sin embargo, la obra art\u00edstica de Chetwynd abarca mucho m\u00e1s: trabaja con pintura y escultura, instalaciones y pel\u00edculas. Su pr\u00e1ctica art\u00edstica se caracteriza por la invocaci\u00f3n y combinaci\u00f3n de las m\u00e1s diversas fuentes culturales.
