Eva Berendes travaille avec la peinture comme m\u00e9dium afin d'\u00e9largir son champ de production. Elle \u00e9tend ce m\u00e9dium \u00e0 la sculpture et \u00e0 l'espace public. Avec cette m\u00e9thodologie artistique, elle n'interroge pas seulement les moyens de production d'images, mais sait habilement faire dialoguer leur base avec l'architecture, l'infrastructure urbaine ou les objets du quotidien. Pour ce faire, elle utilise, comme dans le cas du pr\u00e9sent livre d'artiste, diff\u00e9rents tissus, peints ou non, qu'elle d\u00e9coupe ensuite, relie entre eux en les cousant grossi\u00e8rement ou en les drapant les uns sur les autres et en les fixant avec des \u00e9pingles \u00e0 t\u00eate. De tels assemblages d'Eva Berendes \u00e9taient d\u00e9j\u00e0 visibles \u00e0 Bonn, sous forme d'objets, devant le Kunstmuseum, lorsqu'elle a re\u00e7u le Bonner Kunstpreis 2021 et qu'elle a mis en sc\u00e8ne ses travaux dans l'espace int\u00e9rieur et ext\u00e9rieur, comme des fragments d'architecture ou des \u00e9l\u00e9ments de fa\u00e7ade. Cela a quelque chose de fluide, bien qu'il s'agisse de mat\u00e9riaux solides.
