Mais ici, le proc\u00e9d\u00e9 \u00e9tait diff\u00e9rent : alors que Stadler visait encore les aquarelles de G\u00fcnther F\u00f6rg de mani\u00e8re inimitable avec son texte compos\u00e9 de fragments et de bribes de pens\u00e9es issus de l'environnement de son nouveau roman \"Komm, gehen wir\", G\u00fcnter Herburger donnait dans une petite trilogie une esquisse des lieux et des phases de vie de l'artiste, \u00e0 laquelle celui-ci r\u00e9pondait par une s\u00e9rie de monotypes. L'attrait particulier pour G\u00fcnther F\u00f6rg \u00e9tait que Herburger reproduisait ses trois textes sous forme d'histoires illustr\u00e9es qui voulaient crier au spectateur que \"tout avait d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9t\u00e9 fait\". C'est ainsi qu'est n\u00e9 un projet de dialogue entre les disciplines, comme il n'y en avait plus eu ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es. G\u00fcnter Herburger s'est fait conna\u00eetre comme auteur surtout avec son roman \"Die Messe\" (1969) et le recueil de prose \"Die Eroberung der Zitadelle\" (1972). Sa trilogie \"Thuja\" (1977-1991) a \u00e9t\u00e9 salu\u00e9e pour sa \"critique sociale sans illusion et sa folie parfois presque valentinesque\".
