Le volume \"Coelin\", nom du bleu sp\u00e9cial qu'elle utilise dans ses \u0153uvres, permet bien s\u00fbr de jeter un coup d'\u0153il sur des travaux plus anciens, plus figuratifs. Le livre rend ainsi visible le passage \u00e0 la forme d'abstraction tr\u00e8s particuli\u00e8re d'Ika Huber, comment le coup de pinceau reconnaissable dans le brun terreux, encore li\u00e9 \u00e0 la figuration, se d\u00e9tache et devient une forme libre. Cela nous entra\u00eene dans le mouvement du trait de pinceau, et Rudi Fuchs parle ainsi du fait que si ces tableaux avaient une voix, \"ils murmureraient\".
