\nCuny Janssen cherche toujours des formes de pr\u00e9sentation inhabituelles pour mettre ses livres en relation sp\u00e9cifique avec le paysage concern\u00e9 et les portraits de ses habitants, souvent des enfants. C'est le cas d'Amami, un livre de photos sur la deuxi\u00e8me plus grande des \u00eeles Riukiu, du m\u00eame nom, qui se trouve devant l'une des quatre \u00eeles principales du Japon, Kiuschu. Le visage de cette \u00eele situ\u00e9e en mer de Chine orientale, qui abrite 7.000 habitants sur environ 70 kilom\u00e8tres carr\u00e9s, est marqu\u00e9 par une v\u00e9g\u00e9tation c\u00f4ti\u00e8re insulaire sauvage \u00e0 l'aspect rude, bien que le climat subtropical avec une moyenne annuelle de 21 degr\u00e9s permette deux r\u00e9coltes par an. Les portraits d'\u00e9l\u00e8ves rassembl\u00e9s sur de grands centerfolds donnent l'impression d'une gravit\u00e9 profond\u00e9ment ancr\u00e9e, qui r\u00e9sulte peut-\u00eatre de la menace constante d'une nature que l'on ne peut jamais dompter.<\/p>\n
