Le peintre et \u00e9crivain danois Asger Jorn (1914-1973) fait na\u00eetre dans ses tableaux aux couleurs vives des mondes visuels dynamiques qui t\u00e9moignent tant\u00f4t d'une l\u00e9g\u00e8ret\u00e9 humoristique et ludique, tant\u00f4t d'une m\u00e9lancolie apocalyptique. Pouss\u00e9 par son grand int\u00e9r\u00eat pour la tradition scandinave, qui s'est notamment d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 en r\u00e9action \u00e0 l'adversit\u00e9, Asger Jorn a peint et \u00e9crit sans rel\u00e2che, mais a \u00e9galement cr\u00e9\u00e9 une vaste \u0153uvre en c\u00e9ramique. Ses \u0153uvres picturales sont \u00e9crites dans un langage visuel extraordinairement puissant, oscillant entre abstraction et figuration. Tout au long de sa carri\u00e8re, Asger Jorn a entretenu des contacts avec de nombreux autres artistes, il a \u00e9t\u00e9 membre fondateur du groupe CoBrA et plus tard de l'Internationale situationniste. Le livre volumineux qui accompagne l'exposition propose une s\u00e9lection concentr\u00e9e d'environ 60 \u0153uvres, l'accent \u00e9tant mis sur la p\u00e9riode de cr\u00e9ation comprise entre les ann\u00e9es 1930 et 1970. Des \u0153uvres majeures comme \"Sans bornes\" de 1959\/60 ou \"Au d\u00e9but \u00e9tait l'image\" de 1965\/66 sont pr\u00e9sent\u00e9es et discut\u00e9es en d\u00e9tail. L'\u00e9tendue du spectre m\u00e9diatique de l'\u0153uvre est illustr\u00e9e par des th\u00e8mes et des motifs cl\u00e9s qui, sans cesse repris par l'artiste, traversent toute sa pratique artistique. Les \u0153uvres expos\u00e9es \u00e0 Hambourg et pr\u00e9sent\u00e9es dans le livre sont un t\u00e9moignage \u00e9loquent de l'intensit\u00e9 et de l'actualit\u00e9 permanente de son travail et comptent sans aucun doute parmi les canons de l'art du 20e si\u00e8cle.<\/p>\n
