C'est sans aucun doute Martin Kippenberger qui a eu les meilleures id\u00e9es sur la mani\u00e8re d'am\u00e9nager et de planifier un mus\u00e9e. La petite r\u00e9impression de la deuxi\u00e8me exposition du Museum of Modern Art Syros avait \u00e9t\u00e9 con\u00e7ue \u00e0 l'origine en 1994 par Lukas Baumewerd en petit tirage et imprim\u00e9e sur l'une des premi\u00e8res imprimantes \u00e0 jet d'encre. Le ma\u00eetre a ensuite distribu\u00e9 lui-m\u00eame les vingt premiers exemplaires \u00e0 l'occasion du vernissage de l'exposition d'Ulrich Strothjohann.
\nLe nouveau petit mus\u00e9e de l'\u00eele grecque de Syros, bien qu'unique en son genre et digne d'int\u00e9r\u00eat, avait \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9couvert par Martin Kippenberger des ann\u00e9es auparavant lors de son atterrissage, puis explor\u00e9 avec Michel W\u00fcrthle. Il est vite apparu que les abattoirs inachev\u00e9s constituaient un ensemble id\u00e9al. Le cercle d'amis s'est rapidement attel\u00e9 \u00e0 la t\u00e2che, non sans avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement incit\u00e9 et charg\u00e9 par Kippenberger de se mettre d'accord sur des expositions, de mesurer le terrain et de dessiner des plans. La plupart du temps, des groupes de touristes en provenance de Cologne arrivaient \u00e0 Syros \u00e0 temps pour les inaugurations, afin de f\u00eater l'exposition d'\u00e9t\u00e9 en compagnie du directeur Martin Kippenberger. C'est ainsi qu'ont eu lieu des expositions de Hubert Kiecol, Ulrich Strothjohann, Christopher Wool et Cosima von Bonin.
\nLa r\u00e9impression de ce cahier, d'abord tir\u00e9 \u00e0 vingt, puis \u00e0 cent exemplaires, suit enti\u00e8rement l'\u00e9dition originale dans son d\u00e9cor et sa pr\u00e9sentation, mais contrairement \u00e0 celle-ci, elle est d\u00e9sormais imprim\u00e9e en offset.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
