Dans le cadre de la s\u00e9rie d'expositions et de publications \"Minimalism in Germany\" lanc\u00e9e en 2005, la Daimler Art Collection entreprend aujourd'hui la premi\u00e8re tentative de remise en sc\u00e8ne de cette pr\u00e9sentation historiquement importante. \u00c0 l'\u00e9poque, elle avait r\u00e9sum\u00e9 \u00e0 un haut niveau les tendances minimalistes internationales actuelles et les avait confront\u00e9es aux positions des artistes allemands. Le crit\u00e8re de s\u00e9lection des 62 \u0153uvres pr\u00e9sent\u00e9es par 48 artistes \u00e9tait le principe de l'ordre s\u00e9riel comme caract\u00e9ristique visuelle des images et des objets. Derri\u00e8re ce principe pouvaient se cacher des concepts diff\u00e9rents et tout \u00e0 fait contradictoires. Ainsi, le mouvement europ\u00e9en Zero \u00e9tait tout aussi bien repr\u00e9sent\u00e9 que l'art minimal et conceptuel am\u00e9ricain, des aspects du Nouveau R\u00e9alisme, du Pop et de l'Op Art \u00e9taient pr\u00e9sent\u00e9s - comme l'\u00e9crivait Paul Maenz dans la brochure d'accompagnement du catalogue, on poursuivait \"l'ambition informative de clarifier les diff\u00e9rences entre des formes d'apparition similaires\". La particularit\u00e9 de la publication de l'exposition berlinoise actuelle est la r\u00e9impression compl\u00e8te du catalogue original, aujourd'hui tr\u00e8s recherch\u00e9, qui est un excellent exemple de la premi\u00e8re conception conceptuelle d'un livre.<\/p>\n
