L'artiste anglaise Monster Chetwynd (n\u00e9e en 1973 \u00e0 Londres) a acquis une renomm\u00e9e internationale gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 ses performances carnavalesques qui rappellent les jeux de myst\u00e8re et de carnaval du Moyen-\u00c2ge et reprennent des th\u00e8mes de l'histoire de l'art et de la culture pop, bien qu'elle se soit \u00e9galement fait conna\u00eetre dans les ann\u00e9es 2000 sous le nom de Spartacus ou Marvin Gaye Chetwynd. En 2012, elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 la premi\u00e8re artiste de performance \u00e0 \u00eatre nomin\u00e9e pour le prestigieux prix Turner et occupe aujourd'hui encore avec ses travaux l'une des positions les plus importantes dans le domaine de la performance contemporaine. L'\u0153uvre artistique de Chetwynd va toutefois bien au-del\u00e0 : elle travaille avec la peinture et la sculpture, avec des installations et des films. Sa pratique artistique se caract\u00e9rise par l'appel et la combinaison de sources culturelles tr\u00e8s diverses. Elle cr\u00e9e de la nouveaut\u00e9, allie l'humour \u00e0 la curiosit\u00e9 et recherche des collaborations - ce sont les caract\u00e9ristiques les plus marquantes de son \u0153uvre. L'exposition au Kunsthaus de Zurich pr\u00e9sente pour la premi\u00e8re fois l'\u0153uvre compl\u00e8te de Monster Chetwynd en Suisse. Plus de 60 \u0153uvres des 25 derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es font partie d'une architecture d'exposition immersive. Le livre accompagnant l'exposition \"The Trompe-l'\u0153il Cleavage\" d\u00e9ploie la diversit\u00e9 de son \u0153uvre dans un mode d'action esth\u00e9tique coordonn\u00e9 avec l'artiste.<\/p>\n
