The first book with Günther Förg – the first book of the publishing house! In the autumn of 1995 Günther Förg photographed fifty buildings in Moscow. In 2002, after individual photographs had repeatedly been shown in exhibitions, he established a definitive selection from more than 1,000 photographs as an archive and published it in full for the first time in this book. Alongside the famous studio building by Konstantin Melnikov, whose drum-shaped ground plan has been copied again and again in the history of modern architecture, the volume contains photographs of quite exceptional Constructivist and avant-garde architectural experiments of the 1920s and early 1930s.
