The Bundesgartenschau 2011 in Koblenz provides the young and successful Swiss artist duo Gerda Steiner and Jörg Lenzlinger with the occasion for the site-specific installation “High Water – Drink oh Heart from the Abundance of Time!” The book documents in every detail the exuberant installation, which extends from the lift through the rooms of the new building. From the macrobiological to the microbiological cosmos, not only the unusual collection of materials will be on view; the volume is also supplemented by literary and scientific insights into the subject, which pose a whole series of mundane questions to local flood victims.
