The term „Witterungen“ finds multi-layered analogies in the photographs of Laurenz Berges, Michael Collins and Paola De Pietri. „Witterung“ can refer to the weather, but it can also describe a form of intuition and heightened perceptiveness. Moments of change and weathering, of decay, decomposition, dissolution and transformation are given visual form. The works presented are documentary but above all contemplative photographs that refuse premature answers, take the medium to its limits and challenge visual curiosity.
