Bernard Frize writes about his unusual book
The purpose of this book is not to present a collection of graphic patterns designed to prevent a letter from being read through its cover. Rather, by turning the pages, the curious reader will recognise the reasons for which this work was created. When he puts it down again, I would ask him to remember that this little work and my pictures are connected by the same structure. This book came about thanks to the generous invitation of Mr Kienbaum. Its production was in the hands of Mr Uwe Koch, with the attentive help of Rosemarie Preuss and Julie Hottner. This book is dedicated to my daughter.
